Unix: find and tar
Had to send copies of a bunch of log files, all with the same name in multiple, deep directories.
What I learned:
# find / -name something.log -print > something.txt
# tar -crzT something.txt -f something.tgz
music: dt3
New music living on www.mjladd.com/music. It’s a collection of semi-ambient pieces composed in Reason with a little post-processing in Logic Audio. There is one single sample not included in Reason and the only editing involved fade-in/out on the intros/outros to eliminate clicks.
Obama Rally 11/04/08
Just a few photos from the rally last night. We left after Obama got Ohio and Pennsylvania. It was frustrating to not have access to much information as things were happening, but I was glad that we went. Exciting evening, very happy to have it happen here in Chicago.
